Great little neighborhood gathering place, just a few tables and a tiny convenience store, plus a solid assortment of fishing supplies. Small but tasty menu and the main person (owner?) is profoundly friendly and works her tail off. Eavesdropping on customer conversations over a hamburger the other night I heard about fishing, tractors, the weather, and family, which seems about right. Closes a little on the early side at 7pm but they don't kick you out. Came by accident but I'll make sure to be back.

Astrid is a treasure in the prairie. Coffee is great, food is delicious. If possible, come for dinner as each day is a different theme. My favorite is Thursday, sometimes sold out by noon.

A small store by the shadehill recreational area. Excellent food and service. You will pay more for some stuff. But it is the only place there.
